Description
The aim of this course is to give you insight into the way in which you implement and manage the basic processes within trade and inventory management.
Hereby the execution of the tasks within the trading processes is discussed, but also extensive consideration is given to design choices that can be made. The related process will be involved as well.
After the course has first been introduced to the purchasing and sales process, the setup of these processes is extensively discussed. In concrete terms, this means that you learn how to set up the supply chain (sites / warehouses), how to define items (including all set-up choices) and how to define relations (as customers and suppliers)
We then go through the basic processes in detail: purchase order management, sales order management and stock management (transfers and journals) will be explored.
The course is held by very experienced trainers. The course days are setup in an interactive way: based on an collaboration with the participants, the theory is explained, the system is demonstrated and you get the time to apply the knowledge gained by exploring AX2012.
The acquired knowledge forms a solid basis, also for the additional in-depth courses.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of the course Introduction to AX2012 (X12-INT) is required. Knowledge of trade logistics concepts and processes is an advantage.
