The objective of this course is to cover the core concepts of (discrete) production in D365FO. Functionalities such as BOM's and Routes will be explained and practiced with. The planning, executing and reporting as finished of production orders will be discussed and done in practice. To handle production orders on the shop floor, the concept of Manufacturing execution is explained.

Description
This course covers the basic concepts of the production module in D365FO. The focus is on discrete manufacturing, while Lean and process manufacturing are introduced as concepts. We offer a separate course for process manufacturing.
Topics covered include: Bills of Materials (BOMs), routes, production orders, and shop floor control (manufacturing execution). The basic principles of production finance are discussed, and we address production scheduling. In addition to reviewing the course material, there will be practical exercises in D365FO. There is room for questions and discussion to expand your knowledge of the production module.
Production I training contributes to the preparation of the Microsoft MB-335 exam (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional consultant expert).

Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Supply Chain Management I (DO-SCF) is required.
