Target group

  • (Core) users responsible for trade and inventory processes (purchasing, sales and inventory management) and responsible for related domains such as: finance, planning and manufacturing.
  • Consultants and project managers with domain specialisation Supply Chain Management, Finance and/or Manufacturing.

Description

We look at the execution of tasks within the trade processes, but also elaborate on design choices that can be made. The link is always made to the related processes in practice.

After first being introduced to the purchasing and sales processes, the course goes into detail on the design of these processes. Specifically, this involves learning how to set up the Supply Chain (sites/warehouses), how to define articles (including all design choices) and how to set up customer relationship management.

We then go through the basic processes in detail: purchase order management, sales order management and stock management (transfers and journals) are explained.

The course is taught by highly experienced trainers. The days are organised in a varied way: based on interactive cooperation with the participants, the theory is explained, the system is demonstrated and you are given the space to apply the knowledge gained in the system.

The knowledge gained will form a solid foundation, also for the additional in-depth courses.

This course is part of the preparation to obtain the MB-330 (Supply Chain Management) certificate.

Preliminary knowledge

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Fundamentals (DO-INT) training course is required. Knowledge of trade logistics concepts and processes is an advantage.
