Description

The objective of this course is to give you an understanding of how to implement and set up the basic processes within warehouse management in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365FO).

Based on the knowledge of inventory management in D365FO the course will focus on insight in inventory and to control & handle it on the warehouse floor.
Core topics covered during the course includes

  • difference between inventory management, basic WMS and advanced WMS (WHS);
  • setting up products and warehouses for advanced warehouse management;
  • working with scanning devices (simulation-based) when receiving, issuing and correcting stock.

The course is led by highly experienced trainers, who will share tips and tricks from daily practice. The days are organized in a varied way: based on interactive cooperation with the participants, the theory is explained, the system is demonstrated and you can practice to independently expand your knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.

The acquired knowledge forms a solid foundation for an additional in-depth training on subsequent topics that can be requested or integrated in this course on a customer-specific basis.

This course contributes to your preparation to achieve the Microsoft certificate MB-330 (Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant).

Preliminary knowledge

Knowledge at the level of course Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Supply Chain Management I (DO-SCF).  You are expected to have some understanding of warehouse management concepts and processes.
