Description
The Microsoft Power Platform offers the possibility to build (business) apps. These apps can use data from different systems, such as Dynamics. These apps can be built based on templates but can also be set up from scratch. In this training you learn to set up the Power Platform, a preparatory step that is needed to be able to build apps.

Prerequisite

• No specific prior knowledge is required for this training
• Needed:
  • Bring your own device. Laptop with Windows 10 x64, Google Chrome)
  • License PowerApps or License Office 365 or License Dynamics 365 for FO

Content

• Basics of the Power Platform and Consistency of the Components
• Admin portals and admin options and application installation
• Effective modeling using entities, attributes, and relationships in Dataverse
• Types of apps: Canvas App, Model Driven App and Portal
• Configure and use Model driven apps
• User management for data and functionality through platform security model

Based on a case, you will define, realize, and deliver a solution. This involves aspects such as: efficient storage of data in Dataverse and configuring security. This case continues in the following Power Platform trainings.
